Attached to my apartment I have a small balcony - I've noticed that using fewer and oversized pots really does make the space look more dramatic. Strangely enough, these huge pots actually make my tiny space look much bigger. Size does matter!

Mine's the reverse - packed with lots of small pots and hanging baskets. And I'd have to admit the effect is pretty fussy but I can't discipline myself from buying new plants then having to steal a bit more space to find a place for them.
