small spaces - welcome

the right plant is out there. novice needs advice

Hello!
I am new to this forum and thought I'd put caution to the wind and ask one of you fine Plant This members to help me select a plant.
If you can see my picture, the four blue pots on the wall need plants that are specific to the conditions.
Namely, east facing wall, brief morning sun (pic was taken at 2pm).
I believe the plants I have now are a wormwood, daisy...I'm not sure. But I suspect they need a lot more sun. As I said, I'm a bit of a novice. but I love my garden. I especially love succulents and growing herbs and tomatoes. I rent (but my lanlord lets me do what I please).
Any advice would be terriffic.

darl not sure of the climate where you are but i could suggest some forms of Begonias,Ferns,Kalanchoes etc if not best bet go see your Local Nursery they should be full of help for you.

Your current plants are Dusty Miller (Jacobaea maritima). They like lots of sun so they must get a fair bit to be doing as well as they are and flowering - though the one on the left isn't getting quite enough.
I wouldn't try tomatoes or herbs (but maybe some thyme) but spreading, hanging succulents like Coppertone Sedum (Sedum adolphi), Mother of Pearl Plant (Graptopetalum paraguayense), BLue Chalksticks (Senecio serpens) or Jelly Bean Plant (Sedum rubrotinctum) could work well.
They're good pots for trailing plants and others to consider might be ivy geranium (Pelargonium peltatum) especially one of the miniature varieties or Striped Inch Plant (Tradescantia zebrina).
